Just a couple of weeks ago, my class had the honor of spending the night at the St. Louis Zoo! I must say, even
though we practically had to bunk with the monkeys, it turned out to be a pretty amazing experience. I left with some crazy bed hair, but I also left with a better understanding of what it means to be a zoo keeper. Plus, I got to see all the cute sleeping animals (that doesn't include the yucky African boars). The apes were the funnest animals to watch, they seemed to be playing tag with each other when we were there, but while my friends and I were observing them, one of them came right up to the glass and banged the heck out of it. I was so scared that it would break out I screamed and almost ran over the people behind me. I am not, I repeat, I am not ever going to stand so close to those baboons!
